What a show!

We are PALYMPSES, a pop-folk duo of two brothers from Lyon: Nicolas and Bastien. This neologism comes from the word "PALIMPSEST" (a parchment from which the original writing has been erased to make room for a new text), which quite accurately describes our journey. Formerly an architect and an engineer, we have spent the past two years pursuing our original passion: music creation.

Hi, I'm Manso! This is my surname, and I adopted it as my stage name from the beginning of my career. I am a Brazilian musician and composer born in the heart of Brazil, in the city of Goiânia, the capital of the state of Goiás. My journey in music began professionally in 2009 when I was 17 years old and was invited to revive a musical project at one of the most traditional theaters in the capital. I formed a band that allowed me to perform on significant stages and discover myself even more as an artist. Soon after, my own project was born, where I had the opportunity to open shows for major Brazilian artists and participate in important music festivals. I dare say that I am a storyteller in my songs. In my original compositions, I often lend emotions and life to inanimate objects that surround us but often go unnoticed. It could be a troubled relationship between a knife and a stone, the love disappointment of a lamp that anxiously waited for the flight of a moth, or the declaration of a pillow on the bed. It's as if the objects that surround us could illustrate, in rich and literary ways, the feelings and actions of their owners. A video recorded during one of my performances at Sofar Goiânia opened surprising doors for me in my country, such as an invitation to participate in music programs (reality shows). In 2019, I was a finalist on the reality show The Four Brazil (TV Record), and in 2020, I participated in The Voice Brazil (TV Globo), where I competed for a spot in the final of the program. In 2022, I fulfilled one of my greatest dreams: performing a concert in the largest theater in Goiânia accompanied by the Goiás Youth Symphony Orchestra. In 2023, music gave me another gift: Sofar Sounds invited me to participate in the "Artist Residency Program" in London, UK, where I spent the entire month of June performing shows around the city and neighboring regions. I had the honor of being the first Latin American to experience this unforgettable experience.

Artiste aussi singulière qu’insaisissable, Louise Combier propose une chanson française, mêlant couleurs pop et poésie de l'intime, à la fois puissante et instinctive. Ses titres sont entièrement écrits, composés et arrangés par ses soins, son dernier single "Je veux danser", ayant fait l'objet d'une sortie vinyle collector, en est l'illustration. En 2023, Louise Combier reçoit le Prix Cécile Pollet, ses titres rencontrent un accueil fort et immédiat en streaming au sein des meilleures playlists du moment : Exception Française (Spotify), EQUAL France (Spotify), Actu Chanson (Deezer), Variété Française (Apple Music), Fresh Variété (Apple Music), etc. Louise a également reçu fin mars 2024 le Prix "Coup de cœur France Bleu" au Pop Festival du Mans. Après avoir ouvert pour Marc Lavoine lors de sa dernière tournée, Louise Combier sillonne actuellement les routes de France et prépare actuellement un album déjà très attendu.
