Meet the Artists

ISSA ODYSSEA

Originally from Gothenburg, Sweden - ISSA ODYSSEA is a London based alternative singer-songwriter and multidisciplinary artist. Rooted in poetic lyricism, with influences of alt R&B, lofi and soul sonics, her songs are layered with distinctively emotive vocal melodies and genre-bending production, boldly defying conventional song structure. Unwilling to confine her energy to a singular space, she explores a variety of artistic mediums within her storytelling, from music and poetry to film and visual art. In 2019, she independently released her debut EP ‘Self-Made,’ delving into themes of identity, adolescence, the creative struggle and mental health. Believing her creativity and conscience to be intrinsically linked she often uses her music as an outlet to channel not only her personal experiences but also to reflect on societal / political issues. Since her debut project, she’s released a high quality catalogue of songs, as well as directed and produced her own music videos, revealing her vision and capability as an artist. Over the past years, Issa’s been establishing her place on the live music scene, performing at iconic venues around the city, and building her audience.
