Safari Zone is a band based in Lisbon. They describe themselfs as a progressive sound landscape that seeks to transport listeners on an immersive journey, transforming the environment through atmosphere and sound. The project is inspired by the cyclicity of musical creation with its power of transformation, in an attempt to establish a dialogue between spatial forces and artistic expression. Their first EP entitled "This world is an Anteater" is under construction and scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2023. "This world is an Anteater" brings together songs composed in the band's initial phase and also more current compositions that intertwine "indie" with "space-rock" - style with which the band became more identified over the years. The songs that make up the "set-list" of this alternative group are part of "This world is an Anteater" and also of "1420.fm", an album that the band composes simultaneously, with no scheduled release date.
Safari Zone has performed in Sofar Lisbon.
