Imagine the recipe for your favourite cake, but that cake is a musician. You mix the ingredients, bake it well, and make it look pretty. Serving powerful vocals, masterful lyrics and tasteful melodies is what Nuala does best. Growing up in Earl Shilton, a small town in Leicestershire, a ten-year-old Nuala found a passion for songwriting & performing. She joined a rock covers band at thirteen before setting out on her path as a solo artist, playing as many local pubs and venues as she could. She eventually moved to London and became a full-time busker, playing a slew of gigs around the city and booking festivals. The culmination of years of hard work, Nuala released her debut EP ‘Me&Me’ in October 2020, an ode to her chameleonic talents and witty world view. ’Me&Me’ is a personal, heartfelt journey about a woman trying to figure herself out, being honest about who she is as a person and owning the mistakes she has made. With a great first EP under her belt, Nuala is pushing for a fruitful future of music. She has been cooking up an incredible catalogue of songs for herself & other artists enlisting help from the likes of Romeo (The Magic Numbers), Matt Alchin (Florence & the Machine/Adele), Will Rees (The Mystery Jets), Max Clilverd (Tom Odell), Tom Fuller (Florence & the Machine/Adele) and Luke Patterson (Clean Bandit). On top of her songwriting talents it is on stage where Nuala comes alive - her authenticity is exuberant! Every set is a memorable one. If not for her talent, then it’s for being completely and obnoxiously herself. She’ll have you in tears one moment and in tears of laughter the next.
