A Spoken word Samurai who weaves words for a living, 6X International Slam champ Miss Yankey has written and performed poetry all over the world. Passionate about bringing Spoken Word to new audiences, her words have travelled into all kinds of interesting spaces; she has made television appearances on BAFTA award winning Life & Rhymes on Sky Arts, as well as BT Sports 'Sport In Words'; been played on radio stations including BBC 1Xtra, BBC London Radio and Soho Radio; performed on the West End at the Criterion theatre; had her words plastered on billboards all over the London Underground– and her work can even be found in the Tower of London! Miss Yankey also has a catalogue of Spoken Word music covering multiple genres, including g Hip Hop, Trap Soul, and Deep House.
