Lazy Queen

Lazy Queen plays rock of the loud persuasion. The band was started in New York by Henrik Søberg, and upon his return to Norway he continued the project with the help of a rotating cast of Norwegian friends and musicians. The line-up now consists of Jonas Røyeng, Jon Bernhard Hunskaar and Peter Mortensen. Their sound is based on a solid foundation with noisy garage rock layered with lush guitar melodies, feedback and effect textures adds up to the sonic equivalent of a car crash. Together with insistent vocals, at times dark lyric matter and energetic live shows they give the impression of something on the verge of falling apart in the most delightful way. They've previously released four singels and an EP, and are currently working on new recordings.
