Joe Savage

Joe grew up in North Texas, attended Boswell High School, graduated from University of Oregon and now resides in Granbury, TX. Savage began playing guitar at age 25. Inspired by his love of literature, especially Hemingway, Kerouac, and Jack London, Joe began traveling the United States and Europe living in his car and backpacking. It’s during this time he got hooked on the works of Bob Dylan, The Beatles, John Prine, Kris Kristofferson, Roger Miller and The Doors From 2008-2012, Joe primarily lived out of his backpack learning to write songs and play guitar while taking in the best scenery the western world has to offer. Joe returned to his hometown of Fort Worth in 2013 to pursue music as a career. You can find him playing in bars, breweries and restaurants Tues-Sun around the area. Savage sounds like Johnny Cash meets Chris Isaak meets Jack Johnson, and plays fan favorites from current, 90’s and country outlaw eras as well as plenty of classic rock and blues. His shows are mostly solo acoustic but can be seen with his band on occasion. Catch him every Tuesday in Saginaw, TX at Eagle’s Point and every Wednesday at their Burleson location - 200 S. Main Street Burleson, TX. Joe is booking shows for March - December 2023, and ultimately looking to get out on the road with an established act as their opening band.
