Born and raised in Boston, Mass., Fia James has had a love and drive to create music since her early teenage years. Her first EP 'Washington Street' was released in April 2021 under her former band - Wilmot Redd. In her spare time, she loves to share her musical journey and small snippets of songs on TikTok as well as being the “older sarcastic sister everyone needs but may not ask for.” She is excited for the newfound creative freedom with her now solo career. James draws inspiration from artists like Maggie Rogers, Susan Tedeschi, and Nora Jones. Her father, an avid blues lover, introduced her to the genre that has now made a prominent impact on her sound.
