Anna (who goes by the stage name annamacan) is a Filipino-American guitarist based out of the Bay Area. At the age of 10, Anna was given a guitar and hasn’t stopped playing since. Growing up, she was involved in many different musical projects that span multiple genres. Her own guitar style is a reflection of that and can be described as a blend of math rock, indie, jazz, and prog rock. In 2018, she started writing her own music during a period of self discovery. She has released original EPs with both of her bands Ripplings and Pinay Voltron and plans to release her solo project later this year.
