Maybe it’s all the beanies and jackets worn by the crowd, but Belgium’s White Corbeau’s performance of “Nobody Else” feels perfect for songs to get in the Autumn spirit. There’s something cozy about the melodies in the song as well as the vocals that feel just like that comfy feel of the temperature starting to fall and crisp up the air.
2. Ava Fina
With a superb nocturnal performance of the song “Blablabla”, Ava Fina has the perfect sound for this time of year. Her voice is rich and full of emotion, warm yet full of gravity, while the acoustic guitar strums feel like warming up by a campfire. Yet there’s something casual to her delivery that blends perfectly, like a laid back night with your best buds.
3. Canastéreo
Perhaps the name of the song is a reference to the Pacific Ocean, which could make you think more about warm fun-in-the-sun. However, the sound of Andalucian outfit Canastéreo is much more wistful and pensive, translating the mood of the season into sound with their paired down acoustic guitars and soft percussion.
4. Azula
Hailing from Brazil, Azula makes music that is full of emotion. On “Troca”, we get a kind of melancholic R&B that fits perfectly with the season, blending with the colors of the foliage and the longing one can have for a certain something or someone, brightening even the dampest and greyest of Autumn days.
