Amy Allen has been the creative force behind some of the biggest pop hits of the last few years, and last night, she was recognized for her songwriting brilliance. She took home the Grammy for Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical, an award celebrating her work shaping the sound of today’s music. Amy played two Sofar NYC shows back in 2017.

If you’ve been keeping up, you already saw this coming—Chappell Roan’s rise to stardom was inevitable. With her theatrical pop sound and bold stage presence, she’s made waves in the industry—and now she has a Best New Artist Grammy to prove it. Chappell performed at a Sofar in 2019, and we knew then we wanted in on the “Pink Pony Club.”
