Already a month into the new year? It doesn’t quite feel like it—except for the extraordinarily cool things Sofar artists have been getting done. It’s short, it’s sweet—here’s our Sofar Artist News: January.
1. Our friends Tiny Habits just continue to dazzle us with their pristine harmonies, and now, they’re gonna dazzle a whole new realm of listeners. The Boston trio just announced they’ll be hitting the road with Grace Abrams in March, zig-zagging across the U.S.. We’re not surprised to see the group continue to grow—we’re such big fans that we named them one of our five artists to watch in 2023. While you wait for the tour to begin, revisit their Sofar performance from last year.
2. Can you tell us how to get to Sesame Street, or actually, where to find the Helpsters shop? For those out of the kids-show know, Helpsters is a children’s educational series produced by Sesame Street for AppleTV, featuring a group of monsters helping kids learn how to solve problems. Oh, also there’s usually a special guest to assist the monsters, like Sofar artist Jensen McRae (a 2021 standout artist here at Sofar). The artist recently shared a snap from her episode, and we’re about to pop the popcorn to enjoy the episode (and learn a thing or two). But, before we do, we might revisit the artist’s Sofar Listening Room.
3. Last up, keep an eye on your late-night calendar to catch Remi Wolf singing some tremendously ground-shaking backup vocals for Madison Cunningham on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Remi just continues to blow us away, that’s part of why we named her as four artists we were excited about in 2022. Well, we’re still excited. Watch the artist’s full late-night performance below.
