It’s a short month, but Sofar artists are filling it with good news. We’ve got a lot of talented folks hitting the road for tours, sharing new singles, and more. Here’s our Sofar artist news for February.
1. BASI VIBE’s been known to leave us speechless, and the Sacramento artist has done it again with his newest track, “Jaded”. Over soft acoustic guitar and a pulsing beat, BASI VIBE gives us this tender R&B number that evokes some beloved ‘90s vibes. Hear it for yourself.
2. Heading out to see John Mayer on his solo tour this spring? Well, make sure you show up to the concert on time, because you don’t wanna miss his stellar openers, Sofar alums Lizzy McAlpine and Alec Benjamin. We’re feeling extra lucky we got to see Alec play his track “Let Me Down Slowly” in a tiny room, long before it hit a billion streams on Spotify.

3. A big ol’ congratulations to LANNDS for being named one of NPR’s Artists to Watch in 2023. We’ve been watching the duo for a while—their track “o.o.w.” is still one of our faves from our monthly New Music Alert.
4. We kinda can’t stop talking about our pals Tiny Habits. The trio just keeps dazzling us, especially with their new track “Embers”, which found its way into the new Ashton Kutcher/Reese Witherspoon romcom, Your Place or Mine on Netflix. Go put that thing on repeat (the song, and perhaps the movie, too).
5. In the Los Angeles area? Be sure to stop by Fonda Theatre on March 10th to catch Sofar alums Jensen McRae and Adam Melchor take the stage, respectively. Not anywhere near California? That’s ok, you can revisit Adam’s Sofar performance from the comfort of your own home.
6. A big congrats to Sofar artists Time for Three, Amy Allen, and Ranky Tanky for their Grammy wins earlier this month! Take a minute to revisit Ranky Tanky’s performance of “O Death” for Sofar Charleston.
7. Last thing to put on your radar. Sofar alums Lucius will be hitting the road in the U.S. in April, and bonus, Danielle Ponder will be opening up these magnificent shows. For all of you outside the U.S. (and for you in it, too), you can always revisit Danielle’s jaw-droppingly stunning Sofar performance in Perth.
