1. Hotel Zachary
If you find yourself in the Wrigleyville neighborhood, you gotta make a stop at Hotel Zachary. This gorgeous space is the perfect spot to stay, or stop by for a cocktail and catch a little live music in Chicago. If you get lucky, they might even raffle off another Midnights album, signed by Taylor Swift herself).
2. 345 Gallery
Spending time in Garfield Park? Make a stop at 345 Gallery, a Black-owned art space dedicated to supporting artists and community, with events like a partnered show with Sofar showcasing artists and doubling as a toy drive for kids in the community. 3. Bottles Up!
Ready to sip a glass of wine with a lakeside view? Bottles Up!, an independently owned wine shop, has the flavors, the views, and the solid live music events? Need we say more?
4. Soul Full
Interested in relaxing with a cup of coffee and your new favorite novel? Soul Full is your place. This Black-women owned bookstore and cafe is the place to discover new books, events, and of course some intimate live music in Chicago.
5. Christy Webber Farm and Garden
There’s something so darn enchanting about a cute plant shop Christy Webber Farm and Garden is the kind of enchanting space you can get lost in, admiring all the gorgeous greenery. It’s extra special when we get nestle in among these beautiful plants to hear live music (warning: you will want to pick up a few plants after the show).
