We couldn’t be more proud of these stellar Sofar artists for landing these big Grammy nominations 2023. See a few highlights below, followed by a full list of Sofar artists nominated this year.
Nashville-artist GAYLE landed a nomination for Song of The Year, right alongside Taylor Swift, who she’ll be joining for the Eras Tour in 2023. We had the privilege of seeing GAYLE perform her nominated hit, “abcdefu”, just a few months back in Philadelphia, and we’re still humming along to this powerhouse anthem.
Jack Harlow collected three nominations this year, joining the running for Best Melodic Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Album (sidenote, did you catch his recent host debut on SNL?) The artist is having a real hot streak, and we’re extra honored we got to see him play this small, intimate show back in 2017 in Austin.
Kudos to Tank and The Bangas for their nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album. We feel so very lucky to have watched them take off, and of course, to have seen them play this high-energy tune.
String-trio Time for Three also had pulled in a couple nominations for Best Improvised Jazz Solo, and Best Jazz Instrumental Album. While their Sofar performance was just for those in the room, you can see them showcase their anthemic string pop with their video for “JOY”.
