Each month we welcome new artists to participate in our Artist-in-Residence program in London. During August we’re bringing in no less than three Sofar artists from around the world to join us at UNCLE, the apartment business revolutionizing renting in the UK. Learn a little bit more about each artist below (and for you Londoners, make note of catching each of them live this month around the city).
August Artists in Residence:
Samar Mehdi
Hailing from Bhopal in the Madhya Pradesh region of India, Samar Mehdi plays guitar in a ‘percussive fingerstyle’, creating mesmerizing, poetic, transformative performances. Check out his dynamic Listening Room performance from 2020:
