It feels like August came and went in a snap—but not without these artists sharing all kinds of good news. We’ve got loads of new music for your radar, and some live to celebrate and put on your calendar. Here’s the latest for August Artist News.
1. First off, a big congrats to Hamzaa for the release of her new EP, Rush, a stunning four-song punch of cathartic R&B, led by the artist’s gorgeous voice. 2. Since the release of SOFTMETAL at the end of 2022, BRONZE AVERY hasn’t slowed down a beat. The artist has been steadily releasing singles throughout 2023, including the newest, “SEX IN THE ROOM”, a glittery electro-pop track meant for the dance floor. The artist brings that same high-energy sparkle to this stripped down Sofar performance.
3. For those in the U.S., put Zach Person’s ongoing tour dates on your calendar to catch the artist’s high energy, bluesy Americana-rock performance. And if you can’t make it, you can still hear his brand new single, “Wild”. See the official video below.
4. And speaking of live performances—did you happen to catch this year’s Bleached Festival in San Diego, CA? Well, if you did, hopefully you stopped by the stage curated entirely by Sofar, and caught the outrageously solid sets from BEL, Benjamin Carter, and King Isis.
